It Started With One Dash Cam

I did not originally plan to start an automotive enhancement company.

The idea began with a discreet dash cam that I installed in my own car. I was impressed by its recording quality, compact design and everyday usefulness, so I began recommending it to others.

This soon led to fitting the same dash cam for friends and family. After seeing the results, a friend suggested that I should offer dash cam fitting as a professional service. I did not think much of the idea at first, but it stayed with me.

From Personal Interest to Driver Approved

My interest in improving my own vehicle continued to develop. I began detailing and polishing my car, coding compatible features and working on other enhancements which are soon to come.

I enjoyed seeing how carefully chosen enhancements could improve a vehicle’s appearance, protection, technology and overall ownership experience. I also took pride in completing the work to a standard I was happy to stand behind.

That is what sparked the idea for Driver Approved.

What Driver Approved Stands For

Driver Approved is an automotive enhancement specialist built around products and services that I have personally used, tested or genuinely believe are worthwhile.

We are launching with mobile front dash cam supply and fitting across the West Midlands, with further automotive enhancement services and products to follow.

Before introducing anything under Driver Approved, I ask one simple question:

Would I use this on my own vehicle and confidently recommend it to another driver?

That principle remains at the heart of the brand.
